Set in the lovely Vale of Kerry, this property sits in private grounds with two fishing ponds where you can pretend you know how to fish. The rural setting provides plenty of walking opportunities without having to get in the car. When you do venture out, you're just 3 miles from Newtown with all its amenities and the Welsh-English border area offers castles and quaint towns to explore. The local pub in Sarn (10 minutes away) serves reasonably priced meals for when you can't be bothered to cook.

The accommodation features an open-plan living area with kitchen, dining space and sitting area with a woodburning stove. All four bedrooms have en-suite facilities: a king-size, a ground-floor double with wet room, another double and a family room with three singles. Every bedroom has its own bathroom - no more morning queues or awkward encounters in towels!

Visit Montgomery (12 miles) with its castle ruins, Bishop's Castle (15 miles), or Powys Castle for a day out. Devil's Bridge offers spectacular views and you could even reach Cardigan Bay for seaside fish and chips. After exploring, return to soak in your private hot tub under the stars.
